Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Strategy for Indian Operations
Rajiv Shah was involved in assisting the bank in evaluating
their Indian operations and the strategy for the same in terms of business
lines, expansion plans, suggesting strategies for future growth, capital
strategy, organisation structure at Mumbai and Bangalore branches, etc.
A detailed study was conducted and a report was submitted to the CEO of the
Bank in Abu Dhabi which was well received.
Mashreq Bank Entry Strategy
Rajiv Shah was involved in assisting the bank in evaluating
their Entry Strategy into Iran. The study covered Review of the Iranian Economic
Scenario, Review of the regulatory environment in Iran, Overview of the Banking
/ Financial Services Industry and recommendation on the bank’s entry strategy
into Iran.
A detailed study was conducted and a report was presented to the Board of the
Bank which was well received.
Eurostar Group Organisation Restructuring
Rajiv Shah was involved in assisting the Group in defining
the vision and misison statement, review and recommend on the organisation
structure, prepare an HR Policy Manual, prepare Job Descriptions and provide
Implementation Assistance.
A detailed study was conducted and a report was submitted to the Company and
asistance was provided in implementing the recommendations.
Tata Memorial Hospital Organisation Restructuring
Rajiv Shah was involved in reengineering all the processes
of the Cancer Hospital, analysing and revising the costing methodology, setting
a budgeting process, resdesign and implementation of MIS system and
implementaion of an ERP system.
A detailed study was conducted and a report was presented to the Board of the
Bank which was well received. Implementation support was also provided.
Greaves Ltd.Financial Restructuring
Rajiv Shah was involved in assisting the Company in
evaluating Corporate and Financial Restructuring Options and developing a long
term Financial Model and also examining legal and regulatory issues. The
financial restructuring plan thus prepared was presented to the financial
institutions.
RP Holding Real Estate Market & Financial Feasibility
GIC carried out a detailed market and financial feasibility
study for the development of AED 400 mln real estate project next to Dubai
Mall.
A detailed study was conducted and a report was presented to the Company
which was well received.
Pay and Accounts Office Process Improvement
Rajiv Shah was involved in reengineering the processes of
the USD 30 bln treasury of the Government of Maharashtra. Various
recommendations were made and implemented to improve the overall functioning of
the treasury which resulted in more effective and efficient controls.
British Oxygen India Process Improvement
Rajiv Shah was involved in assisting the Company
reengineering their accounting and financial processes and in providing
implementation assistance for SAP.
The overall monthly closing time for operations all over India was brought
down from 28 days to 6 days.
